These two are very special to me–They booked their wedding with me when I was just starting out and my portfolio was rather small. I love them so much for taking a chance and trusting me even before they had seen my work with weddings. I waited a long time for their wedding to come around and it was wonderful to see all of Melissa’s visions for the day coming together into a final product. I hope you enjoy taking a peek into their wedding day!

We had some pretty close communication together to keep Kevin and Melissa from seeing each other as we walked over the grounds for pictures…there were some close calls, but we did it!

Let me start by saying, we did not take a “chance” on Amber. She is truly amazing and has a special talent to capture real moments on a very special day. After our engagement shots with her, there was no doubt she was going to be our wedding photographer.
Amber went above and beyond to meet with me several times before the wedding to plan out the time line of the event, talk about my vision for our pictures and we even took some field trips to the location to get a better idea of what we wanted. When the “big day” came Amber was just amazing. She brought cute props like the bride hanger you see in the pictures. When a moment got stressful she had a way of calming us all down. Her visions for the shots she took were something I could never come up with myself and we are beyond pleased with all the moments she captured. Amber has a gift of catching those real moments that are happening during and between the pictures. Those moments turned out to be my favorite pictures. We loved how she thought to take my shoes and his tie during the reception and do some fun shots with the props.
The whole day was better than we could have ever imagined, and without this perfect pictures we would not be able to have a lifetime of memories. Amber we love you and we will use for all our future photography needs. Thanks for being an amazing friend and a stunning photographer!
